Matcha Room is based in Stockholm, Sweden and was born from a practical need for an authentic, high grade Japanese Matcha. We have searched, tested and found a great tasting matcha that is grown in a beautiful farm in the southern region of Kagoshima. This matcha is picked by hand, nurtured by the farmers who take pride in their tea crafting.

Premium grade Japanese matcha is not only a beautifully green tea, it is a source of caffeine for those wanting an alternative to coffee. Through our research and travel in Japan, we learned that the world of Japanese tea is rich in traditions and health benefits. Variation in matcha flavours, textures and shades of green is endless due to sophisticated farming methods.

While Japanese tea is not yet fully discovered outside of Japan, Japanese themselves include green tea in various forms in their legendary cuisine. We are beyond proud to work with our Japanese suppliers to bring Kagoshima matcha to Sweden and the rest of Europe.
